Are you looking to build a strong career? Then we have an opportunity for you! We currently have an opportunity for a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis to join our team in Appleton, WI. 

The Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis will be responsible for:

  • Report and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results to Business Unit management and the parent company.
  • Lead and manage the preparation of the Annual Operating Plan, Quarterly Forecasting Cycles, monthly forecasts, and any ad hoc forecasting that is required. This includes P & L as well as Balance Sheet forecasting.
  • Manage and serve as subject matter expert for the company’s decision support system, which provides product and customer profitability information to all functional areas.
  • Provide analytical support to all areas of the company to ensure optimal, fact-based decision-making.
  • Manage freight expense accounting, analysis, and forecasting.
  • Lead, manage, and develop a staff of two financial analysts.

Job Requirements

To be considered for the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis  opportunity. candidates should possess:


  • BA/BS degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • MBA or other advanced degree in a related field is a plus.
  • CPA or CMA Certification a plus.


  • 15+ years of related professional and progressive Finance experience in a Corporate or divisional environment.
  • Prior management experience combined with a proven track record of developing, coaching and mentoring a diverse finance team.
  • Prior experience in the CPG industry a plus.


  • Proficient in MS Office with high proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience with large, automated financial systems such as SAP.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to solve unstructured problems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers.
  • Strong analytical skills as well as organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Exercise sound judgment with the ability to take calculated risks and make risk/return recommendations.
  • Ability to be discreet with confidential information.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines.
  • Must be team oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams.
